we love a staff party

last night we had the privilege of dining out at restaurant 27 for our annual staff party.

there is only one evening (besides christmas) that we close the restaurant and spend it all together, and last night did not disappoint.

a big thank you to karen & dave for letting us experience the delights of 27 once more- it was delicious!

and thank you to kevin and his team for looking after us and giving service at its best.

christmas charity

Firstly, we hope everyone has had a great first day of 2015!

Secondly,as most off you all know, we have been raffling and running a ‘guess the cork’ competition throughout December to raise money for The Rowans Hospice

The success of our Christmas raffle was outstanding and our New Years Raffle was great too!

The anticipation of making the correct guess of corks has kept everyone wondering.

In total the money we raised last month totalled £2629!!

Congrats to our New Years raffle winners & also to our guess the cork winner. The amount of corks was 265!.. So Sarah Marshall, your guess of 756 was abit steep 😉 Well done all and thanks again for all your donations and support.

Stay tuned for more events throughout 2015.

christmas 2014 raffle

Just wanted to update everyone on our Christmas raffle draw which took place after Carols on the Camber.Firstly, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who bought a ticket (or 120) – as one generous customer did!

We raised an amazing £2340 in just over two weeks!

The wine tasting supper for six was won by Matt, who had only got his ticket on Sunday evening. Congrats.

The Magnum of Pinot Noir was given to George Pound.

And the High Tea for Two at The Tenth Hole is still to be collected by ticket yellow 74 – Lucy.

All of the proceeds we raise throughout 2015 will go to the brilliant Rowans Hospice.

The success and interest raised has prompted our next step- The New Years Eve Raffle! Stay tuned for prizes…..

here it comes…

work is well under way for the new america’s cup headquarters.

since the green light in june, the sir ben ainslie built is developing quickly and right before our eyes!

we will be uploading pictures of the build as it happens to document its progress.

the project should boost the local economy and bring something quite brilliant to our corner.

we are excited to see the finished product; right here on our camber docks.
