I stopped by The A Bar whilst in Portsmouth and had a very enjoyable meal with some friends. The restaurant was busy and buzzy on a Saturday evening, yet the staff were still extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well looked after.

The food was fantastic; we started by sharing some cold meats and other small plates, and for the main course, I had the pork. It was absolutely impeccable - it melted in the mouth, and the chips were amazing too. The whole meal was excellent 🌟

The wine list is also fantastic and, I felt, it was very well-priced. I would 100% visit The A Bar again when in the area. I’d highly recommend booking a table, as it is clearly a very popular establishment 🙏
